Flies in the Window

The composition of this photograph is beautifully done with a strong sense of balance. It seems to be a photograph taken from the inside of a windowsill. On the windowsill there are many dead flies. Outside the window there are cows grazing in the field. There is a parallel in the composition between the dead flies and the living cows. There is also a row of trees just before the cows. Although the paint of the window is chipped and there are dirt and dead flies on the ledge, this photograph does not give a feeling of uncleanliness. It is a serene photograph that reflects beauty in something that is not usually found beautiful.
