This is a rather ambiguous picture of two women facing the camera and one woman with her back to it. Of the two women facing the camera, one is younger and the other is middle age. It is unclear if the women are looking at the other woman or if they are looking passed her. The reaction of the two women bring humor to the photograph. Neither of the women appears very amused, the older woman looks indifferent and the younger looks extremely bored. The viewer is left to wonder what the situation is and how the women are related, if they even are.
