During 1980, the yearbook featured a food committee that consisted of students who wanted to know what students thought about the food in the cafeteria, as well as around campus.

Myer Auditorium hosted many events in the past, many of which incorporate science and socializing, with food! On Thursday, November 15, 2012, students from Lake Forest College presented their posters while attendees enjoyed coffee and desserts.

Being a waiter used to be a campus job at LFC. Before 1945, the best looking boys from sports teams were chosen to bring food to the girls in Lois Hall. But throughout 1945-1950 there were both male and female waiters.
