Description
Bookplate designed by Howard Van Doren Shaw for his youngest daughter, Frances Theodora Shaw. In the center there is a crown image above three books. The bookplate reads, "The World is so full of a number of things, I'm sure we should all be as happy as Kings. Ex Libris Frances Theodora Shaw." [quotation from Stevenson, Child's Garden Verses] Back of the photocopy denotes that Susan Dart has the original.
