This view of the Franklin P. Smith estate from ca. 1901 looks north at the tile-floored terrace between the 1901 Smith house on the left and the "east porch" on the right. Shown are two unsual benches, south and north, with a reflecting pool between them--parallel to the house and porch.  The photo print was donated by Carol Blomquist from a Durand/Smith family photo archive given to her by the late Daisiana Smith Giles.
