This is a cluster of documents and correspondence relating to a Lake County initiative ca. 1971 to include Mettawa in the larger county-wide planning process, in anticipation of major growth to follow soon.
When the village and mayor James R. Getz were having trouble fitting the format, a county planning official, Lwrence C. Sweda, made an effort to draft something that fit the format but followed the ideas of the group: see the library catalog under "Village of Mettawa."
