Hotel Half Day was possibly owned by J.F. Hornberger. A gate in the front and on the store sign tells that they have fine beer. On the far right, a few people stand next to a person on a horse drawn carriage.
Wright Lodge was a private residence just north of the cemetery entrance. The owner was the president of Calumet Baking Powder Company.

Ed Kelly's Half Day Road House was also called Perculat's Hotel according to Mrs. Ed Gleason. On the porchs around the hotel, people enjoy the nice weather. The hotel has two flags on either end with many trees.
