Richard (Dick) Richard's 1943 distributed "Civic Opera Buidling, Chicago" calendar print, a black and white engraving, had attached, below the print, a small 1944 calendar with tear-off pages for the months. Over or covering the print was a sheet of semi-transparent protective paper (attached through two holes at the top to similar ones in the print with a white cord tied connecting them), with "Seasons' Greetings" for 1943-44, etc. printed over the space for the print, showing through. It is signed by James C. Thompson, from 1936 to 1952 the president of the 20 N. Wacker Corp., owners and operators of the Civic Opera House.
