Prairie View, IL

Description

This Scene Near Prairie View, IL (Oakwood) Postcard shows a house built by Ed Glemson's father. The gate reads "Oakwood." In fact, there appear to be many trees surrounding the estate. However, this house was owned by George N. Bradley in 1885 originally named "Edgewood." This estate was in existence as late as 1945.
