Wabash Railroad steam locomotive #573

According to http://www.stlouisnrhs.org/wabash_573.htm, it was built by the Rhode Island Locomotive Works. It was retained for two years after the Wabash was dieselized because it could only support steam engines. weighs 215,825 lbs. in working order, has 64" drive wheels and 19" by 28" cylinders.  Built in 1899, it  was one of the smallest engines operated.  In 1955, the Wabash Railroad donated #573 to the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, MO.  This was possibly the last steam engine operated by the Wabash.
