Description

This book is one of a series of hundreds dating form the early twentieth century, listing the students in local grade schools, their ages or levels and often also the name of a parent and an address or street name also. Information is sparse about the early twentieth century residents of Lake Forest--estate people who rented gut did not own homes and also support staff who may have come and gone between censuses or who lived in homes owned by their estate employers. These school rosters help establish early residents and their approximate living locations.
