Description
This collection merges two, one from the late David O. Jones (Lake Forest, later Westport, CT) covering the 1920s to the 1990s and one from William Lee (Lake Bluff, and later Salt Lake City, UT) covering the 1920s to the 1950s).
The list itself was compiled by student interns in Archives and Special Collections, in the late 1990s. These interns were Andy Provost '01 and Scott Richardson '00.
These maps were produced by standard map makers, such as Rand McNally in Chicago, and distributed by states and by oil companies' service stations. Or they were sold or distributed separately.
