Wellesley, Arthur

Arthur Wellesley (1769-1852), also known as the Duke of Wellington, was one of England's greatest military leaders. He was Prime Minister from 1828-1830, as well as 1834. He was the man responsible for defeating Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo. He became the Duke of Wellington in June of 1814.
